Acces Control Systems (ACS) started in 1987 when Steve Haley began a company focused on parking access control. Under his leadership, ACS grew to become the largest parking control system provider in Middle Tennessee. Shortly thereafter, Joel Hill joined Haley to develop security for commercial and residential customers, as well as a fire protection division. This merge made Access Control Systems (ACS) a full-service security company. President Steve Haley says, “Our client base is impressive and one of which we are most proud. We have designed and installed systems for the military, major airports, universities, industrial and commercial facilities, and residential estates.”
ACS is a complete system integrator, offering a full range of products and services to meet specific needs. Understanding the client’s needs is the first step in identifying the best solution. Being able to design a system for a client requires not only knowledge about available security equipment, but also about integrating the hardware to meet the customer’s needs. Quality security systems are not mass-produced; they are customized. Early involvement is the key. Being part of the conceptual design is when ACS technologies are used to guarantee the systems are fully expandable and can be easily upgraded with maximum efficiency and minimum cost. As needs change, the systems may be modified to keep pace with these changes, offering continued and reliable performance today, tomorrow and years to come.
At ACS, the relationship after the sale is as important as the original sale making training, service and maintenance top priorities. The ACS philosophy is to provide clients with the highest quality professionally- engineered system design, installation and service for a complete security solution.
